Capitol Tech, a collaborative effort between Georgia’s schools and the state’s Educational Technology Training Centers, features Georgia’s students demonstrating the application of 21st Century skills in the educational process. Annually, each ETTC selects one school and spotlights its students’ using innovative 21st Century technology tools.

Georgia Movie Academy is a project that introduces students to different media sources and prepares them for the furture in the area of technology. Students will share their projects and how they were created for this exciting program. Bleckley County Primary team choose "Cotton" for their movie theme. The students visited a cotton gin and did research on cotton in Bleckley County. These students won Best Movie in the K-2 division of the 2009 Georgia Movie Academy.
