As of March 2010, I have updated the
site again! I have decided to focus on Linux and OpenSource related
projects and content. I will also be placing a lot of focus on the
Apple Server and Apple workstations. I have created a new Apple page
with content pertaining to both the Apple client and server solution.
Since the MAC OSX is built on the UNIX kernel, it is only natural that
I support it on this web page.
I will also be updating the Windows page with the release of Windows 7.
I felt the Vista OS a total waste and did not have the time or
enthusiasm to post content on such a useless OS. I will leave the more
indepth Microsoft content to those more qualified. I think my time will
be better spent concentrating on something I actually get excited about
and have a little knowledge about. Hence my decision
to return to Linux with a dedication and excitement that I had when I
started this job. I think Linux has finally been legitimized, even
though I never really cared if it was or not, and has started getting
the attention of Educators as a useful tool.
I have made lots of changes to the Linux page, added content that I
thought would be useful and updated the links.
I will also continue to
add content to the Technology page and the Free software link. I have
also started a FOG Imaging solution page. This page mostly contains my
installation notes. As I create more notes I will be adding them to the
FOG page. I will be cleaning up the links on those pages, however, with
limited time (getting more limited everyday) you might ocassionally
find a dead link or two.
Hope you find something useful.
Thanks, David
